I'm just happy I finished it. I can't remember how old the main sketch (everything but Carol on the right) is.

Was it intentional though to have her look so crisp and clean with everything else kind of sketchy? I thought it was a really bold artistic choice to mix media like that!

I've had the sketchy part so long that I grew attached to the markmaking, but when there's a fantasy/daydream element in an image, it looks best to me if the styles compliment the mood anyway. This would look a lot different if I approached the whole idea at once, but I'm pretty sure I'd still prefer this version.

This piece is fantastic..... The Carol on the right is probably one of the best (if not the best) facial expressions you have ever done! And hell yes to beer snobbery and dark beers!

They're so good. I will never understand why people settle for corn sodas.
Of course one of the best would be a bored/tired expression. I certainly have the practice.
