Jake breathes deep, pain racking his body. Blood drips down his face, and torn hands. At least his suit is ok. But damn, they just had to break his glasses. Fucking expensive as hell, and some lil shit just had to pick a fight with him. Cocky lil ass. At least he's down on his ass, while Jake remains standing. He looks over to a young chimerian through his broken sunglasses, huddled on the floor near him in shock and fear.

"Kid, whatever bullshit they told you in your new citizen welcome package, throw it out. The City is more than willing to chew you up. Stick with me, and you may survive your first year here."

Wanting to delve deeper into the lore of my Cityverse. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine in The City. Crime, drugs, and other horrors and terrors of the mortal variety run deep in some of the district. Just because you dont remember your previous life before winding up at The City, doesnt mean you dont carry some old, bad habits.

Here we see Jake, after getting into a nasty fight. This is during the years he's trying to establish himself as a burgoning crimelord. The Chimerian he's talking to is my raptor, Grant. They'll later become close friends and allies, with Grant being Jake's msot trusted friend and associate.
