A "thank you and goodbye" gift for my thesis supervisor. The fact that she listed kingfishers as her favourite birds (which was kind of awesomely random as far as supervisor presentations go) was the main reason why I chose her seminar in the first place, so it was only logical to draw something related to them. A ton of reference photos and a pile of practice doodles later, I came up with two tea/watercolour/pencil drawings. And I still have close to no idea how bird anatomy works, weeh.
