But even after he removed the scarf and settled down at home, there were magical powers within the scarf that rubbed off on him. Changed him in many ways that he didn't expect.

And he would only know something was off when his neck started to grow... and was that a tail sticking out behind him? He could only look at his hands in surprise as his shoulders shrink in and his shirt started to slip off. Was those... scales? His belly felt weird as it shifted, and while he still had his hands, he felt what became of his belly.
