I suppose this qualifies as vent art, doesn't it?

Exposition time! I was trapped in a pretty horrendous relationship some years ago, which I won't go into at the moment, but needless to say I still haven't fully recovered from it. Around about the same time as that happened, I heard that Queens of the Stone Age (who are the first band that I properly got into on my own) had a new album, '...Like Clockwork.' I listened to it pretty much constantly during that time, and discovered that I could - and still do - identify with that album more than anything else I've listened to. In particular the song that gives this piece its title, I Appear Missing. Mixed in with parts from other songs on the album, Kalopsia and Keep Your Eyes Peeled to name a couple. But yeah. Felt like drawing something, knocked this out in about half an hour. Sometimes it's good to just do shit like this.

Ah well, enjoy it. Or don't. Doesn't matter.
