I had an experience with thrombocytopenia where I was taking an antibiotic and it unexpectedly reduced my platelet count to zero, causing purple spot cluster all over the body called petechiae, spontaneous bruising, and raised scabby, bloody things in my mouth and on my tongue. I was like this for Halloween, and I did feel like a monster.
