The youth often whispered the stories of the old forest. If you enter into the forest the horrible beasts will devour them. That didn't stop the curious ones who always sneak in the deep night when no one is looking. What he didn't expect was a reunion of old friends.
Ancient blood runs though their veins. Twisting, corrupting and binding the individual to the will of the forest. What color will his coat bare? Will he contribute the pack in raw strength or vile cunning?
With every sunset something deep inside reminds him of his humanity. Sharp ears can pick up many sounds including the sobbing of loving parents.
There is a lot to be said about this work. Took my time to get a good composition, iron out the shapes and lines, adding bits of line details, and getting the colors work together. I feel it came out really well. Which has done wonders on my mood. Been stuck doing traditional art homework for months that I missed working on fully detailed pieces like this.
And I'm enjoy this this art style. Less focus on rendering realistic textures but still just as fun to look at.
