another new character, his name’s schetan (shay-tan)

i dont have a TON fleshed out for him yet, but he’s one of the few ves’dari in history that have become aanir. he’s one of the older aanir, probably around innoko’s age (800-850 years). i decided a little while ago (p much right after i first made yan zi) that aanir might uhh identify? with different gods and that influences their abilities & what they are able to shapeshift into. schetan’s patron god is a god of storms/lightning, so his magic reflects that & his weapon is a magic lighting bow (i drew it so shitty ROFL but thats what its supposed to be).

when he was mortal he was an excellent archer, and was probably some kind of noble or royalty. i think when he was mortal was when ves’dari were the more dominant race on lysaeus. he misses those days & how proud and prosperous his people used to be, but doesn’t have much positive feelings for the current generations of ves’dari. hes caught between wanting to help them get back to their former glory and feeling like theyre largely a lost cause

personality wise hes probably a cocky bastard, reckless, wants to do things his way or not at all. very competitive, hates losing/being wrong, stubborn and hardheaded. has a heart of gold very (very, very) deep down, but for the most part, yeah, hes pretty abrasive
