'Hear Me Roar' is the house words for House Lannister in the Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin. Out of context, I like the simplicity of it. It feels like an empowering personal mantra instead of a terrifying threat.

I've recently gone through some rough personal things and I've been very conscious of making sure I no longer doubt myself. My judgment is usually on the money, and I need to trust myself. I need to hear myself and let myself roar.
