I'm not even sure how to talk about this piece. I feel like if I say it was "therapeutic" people are going to assume it comes from a place of self-loathing, but honestly it's sort of the opposite! It's coming from a place of contentment and passion. I feel transcendent.

Painting this was delightful from start to finish, I absolutely LOVE the textures I can get from the dry media brushes in Photoshop. I'm also kind of shocked that this is probably the first time in maybe 4 freaking years I've used blood in a finished piece?
