Concept design for the Bellgrimm
a creature that lives in the bell tower, always keeping watch for storms approaching from the sea, ready to warn the town if danger is coming.

When a storm rages on, the Bellgrimm leaps from house to house, checking the windows to assure that everyone is secure, and to escort anyone left outside to a safe place.

I wanted his look to imply mystery and swiftness. I'm not totally loving the wings, but not hating them- I had the idea that he could use them to glide.
