During Neolithic times, dog toys were improvised objects; from femurs jutting out of old stone age barbaques, the bones of thine enemies or sticks.
The 21st century has brought forth innovations such as Kong toys and various exotic plastic toys claiming to be non-allergenic and sanitary! Including a super brand of plastique sticks in exciting tree trunk shapes and beige colors.
Yet for all the toys given to this Australian Shepherd pup, this is currently her favorite toy; a stick found in her owner's back yard.
Sometimes Neolithic methods work best.
