Character page commission for of his character Avolc.
Originally purchased as a colored sketch, but upgraded due to time-took getting it done.

Real challenge all the way around! But had much fun working on this after I got my new tablet and developed a bit of a new style.

Things I've learned from this commission:
• If I ever decide to open up for these again, the price will be so much higher. I underestimated how much time and effort even getting the sketch done would be.
• I have so much fun drawing fur now! It use to be a pain, but I rather enjoy it with this new developed style.
• Referencing real animals for maws on a unique creature is really hard.
• Hats are more awkward to place on the head than I thought.
• Shading maw-shots are fun but challenging. Something I want to improve.
• Colored lines didn't look good! Another surprise...Usually improves my drawings lol.
• I need to work on character-consistency more when drawing the same character multiple times on one image/series. Improved since my "Unexpected Guest" comic, but still needs work.
• Need to work on head angles more as well as eyes. Improving, but still more difficult to do than it should be.

Overall a rewarding experience!
