(This was originally posted on my FA around three months ago. I'm just copy and pasting the original description I had for it.)

I’ve honestly been meaning to draw something for Splash for a while now, but then Molly happened, then Shadow, and now Zidane.

Both Splash and Shadow were living with my parents during their last years, so I unfortunately didn’t get to say goodbye to them when they passed. Both of them were very close to me and I held them close to my heart. Splash was a sweetheart that would ride on my shoulders and bump her head against mine. Whenever I asked for kisses, she’d bump her head against my face so I could kiss her forehead. Shadow was a halloween kitty, followed me all the way home on halloween night and stayed outside my home for 3 days until my parents decided to let him in. He had been my shadow since then, always following me around. He was one of those cats that was aggressively affectionate in that he’d rub his face against mine, grab my arm and groom it, or insert himself in whatever I was doing until I paid attention to him.

Zidane wasn’t in my life as long as he had been for BaldDumboRat, but I’ve known him as long as I’ve known BaldDumboRat and had lived with him for the past several years. I loved Zidane and his quirks. I interacted with him every day and helped take care of him. It’s very noticeable now that he’s gone that he isn’t here. I remember how I gained his trust and the first time he laid down in my lap. I learned the way that he liked to play. I miss how he’d follow me to the bathroom to ask for pets or ask to drink from the faucet.

I love and will miss all three of them. Rest in peace: Splash, Shadow, Zidane.
