Fenrir Bound by Silvermane

Fenrir Bound

Silvermane

According to Norse mythology Fenrir was a child of the god Loki and would bring about the end of the world and the gods themselves. Seeing how big he grew and the danger the giant wolf would become the gods tricked him into being bound. He would be bound until the tread like shackles that held him would give way and he would swallow the sun and then eat Odin, father of the gods.

Naturally given the tasks Fenrir is destined to do I had to make the wolf equally huge. So the little figure on his nose is a human who has found the wolf now bound and a mountain had formed around him through the ages.
