It feels like it has been ages since I've had anything worth uploading. The Fancy Belly Dance Eagle in Gold and Red got me out of my comfort zone. The finished product was beyond my expectations. I want to keep this level of growth going to I challenged myself to do another more intricate version of my Anubis mask. It was not the easiest thing to photograph with all of the small details and paint. It barely shows up but the orange red portions are painted to resemble carnelian and the dark blue is given a faux lapis finish complete with golden flecks. The little dots of shine that look like imperfections are raindrops. I didn't edit them out as I feel dishonest photoshopping my work beyond slight color correction.
