Satiran wasn't old. At least, not compared to the rest of his people. Long in the tooth perhaps, had seen one to many wars, came from the frozen lands of Northrend, part of a species long believed forgotten by their other kin.

But he realized now, hands clinging to the gem studded body of this strange mount, that he was to old for this. He felt regret bubble in his stomach, quickly followed by a scream of terror that was carried on the wind.

"HARUUM GET BACK UP HERE!!!!"

Maybe, maybe he should have realized this was a bad idea when Haruum told HIM to take the saddle of a one person mount. Maybe he should have known something was up when they'd left their armor on the cliff face. Maybe, just maybe, he shouldn't have picked up a bruised, battered little priest a year ago and protected it.

Maybe, just maybe, he was to fucking old for this.*
