Ariset is an oasis region contained inside an area known commonly as the Endless Sands, which also has pokemon present but with a bizarre twist, every single one of them seemingly being made from rubber with their usual colouration and patterns being made into black and gold, often with some added details that distinctly resemble egyptian theming.

Depicted here is an Umbreon from the region, serving as a fine example of the area's rather peculiar trait present in all native pokemon. One would think the colouration would cause them to easily overheat, yet it seems to be a side-effect, or perhaps a cause, of a strange effect that renders them extremely resistant to the desert heat, though this does not extend to the scorching fires of a fire-type attack and is more akin to an extreme resistance against heat-exhaustion.
