Lilu is a two hundred year old incubus (young for a demon), an old breed of demon that needs the sexual energy of others in order to survive. Lilu is a submissive incubus, meaning instead of attacking women, he seduces males and feeds on their energy until they die, or at least he did until Alexander, a high elf, finds him in order to exorcise him. However, Alexander becomes enamored with Lilu and takes him on as his traveling partner, and lover.

Lilu has very little magical energy, as incubi gain their magic as they age, but he makes up for it with claws, teeth, and talons sharp enough to pierce a dragon's hide, and wings designed for high speed divebombing. Lilu has a very quiet, sweet disposition, despite his race and he readily accepted his partnership with Alexander and is happy to feed off of the elf.
