Nell is a part of a subspecies of the Agaela called Clunioa. They are fairly uniform in their looks, although their face markings are never the same, even among hatchlings and parents. They can live on land, but feel more comfortable in the water. They sing a wordless song that, like Agaela poison, has all kinds of effects from mind control, aneurisms, and sleep. They very small when they first hatch, but can grow as big as a sperm whale if they live long enough. They can change the colors of their tendrils to suit their environment and emotions. When they are angry, they make loud clicking noises that get them confused as whales on sonar. Their eyes also change colors.

Nell is a very rare white for her subspecies, their bodies are usually dark or flamboyantly colored. Their tendrils are incredibly flexible, like hundreds of hands.
