Manami is actually an old character from a bunch of my stories (Death, Incubus Lessons, Of Gods and Wolves, and others) but I never finished designing her, so it was great to get this design since this is more or less how I envisioned her.

Manami is the God of the Ocean, water, travel, and one of the four Gods of creation. Manami is the mother of the Leviathan, who is the creator of the Agaela and other aquatic species. She has a deep romance with the God of fire and air, Nix.

It is said that Manami's tentacles reach every corner of the oceans and feed life into them. She is typically mellow, but has moments of intense rage and turbulent emotions. She can survive on land and can take on different forms to pass as mortal.
