This is a sumi-e or a Japanese water color painting that was done for me as a commission by edge--chan on FurAffinity. The character is Shingetsu my oryx fursona shooting a bow. I loved getting him done in this Japanese style.

The kanji on the right side of the page are pronounced "seishin-ryoku" and it conveys the meaning of someone having emotional or spiritual strength. Strength that comes from within. Shingetsu represents me at my worst and as a result he can be a very sad, angry, and broken character. However, like me he has tremendous inner strength and inner emotional strength. He just hasn't quite realized that.
