Taking a walk around the aerodrome, the war weary ace reflects on his experience. Some say shooting down another aircraft is machine vs another machine...but he knows inside that machine is a man like himself, and he has just taken another life. In a war without end, he watches his comrades fall one by one. Flying multiple missions each day, he racks up kill after kill. Each one adds to his grief. A hero and role model to some, a murder and butcher to others. Maybe one day the war will end, maybe one day he can return home to his girl, he silently reflects on all those maybes.....at least until hes called again to fly on the wings of death one more time
