Lupin will always argue she's the top bitch in charge. Whether she really is or not. She's good at putting up a front, except in front of those who know her quite well. That sometimes irks her. Not that there's much she can do about it at this point in time. Some of those people have gotten under her skin and she's not sure she wants to yank them out. They tend to humble her when she needs it and give her a well-needed kick in the pants as well.

And yes, Lupin has the ability to change her flames' colours at will and tends to do this for added flair when she gets into a mood. Or, alternatively, when she's putting on a show, although those days are very rare now.
