I've decided to develop Sabrina's history and character more, here's a basic skeleton to describe Sabrina in this picture/story.

Sabrina suffers from a personality disorder that leaves her with quasi-psychotic episodes, mainly intense illusions or severe visual/audio components. The specks of light in this picture are seen only by her and are a sort of 'static' that enters her vision time to time, usually a precursor to her actual psychotic break. Sabrina displays from time to time a slip in her character, from awareness to absolute belief that these delusions and illusions are real or fake. Before her actual episode begins and the 'plant' appears in it, she is aware it is about to happen and that it isn't real.

That's why she's crying, because she knows she's about to slip from external reality and be commanded by her depressive subconscious (in the form of her plant tail) that tells her to do things and often puts her down to extreme lengths. When Sabrina's plant attacks her, she is actually self mutilating in her psychotic state without realizing it, and when she tries to resist her hands and arms physically tremble and stop for a few moments to anybody witnessing it. but it's often very futile and she claws herself immediately after twitching.

I've somewhat tried to hold myself back from describing Sabrina's illness in great detail, and to a great surprise this isn't even a vent piece but sort of an emotional connection i've tried to make in my art. It's just so people can understand her more I guess? I don't really see her as a 'fursona' as I am not her in the slightest so I'll just say she's a very dear character. uvu.
