Eseeka Revisited

ShadowCheetah

These are all from a sketchpad I keep on my desk at work. Occasionally, I doodle on it when I need to take a short break. Over the last few weeks, I've been revisiting eseeka again, which is a fictional Argrathi art form introduced in the DS9 episode "Hard Time". It involves starting with a circle and staring at it until you allow it to encompass your entire mind and universe, and then adding a mark that seems right somewhere in the circle. After that, you continue to add to it and let the pattern grow organically, flowing directly from the mind.

Despite being fictional, I find it surprisingly relaxing and it's a great way to clear and focus your mind while abstractly expressing yourself.
