This morning, I woke up and didn't even know that it was my birthday until someone reminded me (again). My family is sort of an anti-celebration family for some reason. Of course, I happen to like celebrating stuff so I find my little ways to rebel against family tradition. So, armed with the knowledge that it really was my birthday, during graphics class I decided to doodle a little cake to celebrate. I didn't feel all that much older until I was trying to draw the proper amount of candles and ran out of room on the cake. Anyone who has known me for a while probably knows how often I have random silly mental images pop into my head when someone says something completely unrelated or when something even mildly amusing happens.

This was the silly mental image that popped up as soon as I ran out of room to draw the candles.

Oh, and be proud of me. I actually brought unlined paper with me to draw on.
