I decided to take a break from working on my website for a bit to do some doodles. It's mostly done, I'm just trying to figure out how to make pages transparent so the background will be seen, hopefully it will be up and running by tomorrow. But while I was doodling, I was listening to some of the music I have saved in my YouTube playlist, and there was a song that came up that I forgot I saved that was essentially the Windows XP startup jingle, but remixed into an RPG song, and it gave me and idea to make characters based on my favorite operating systems, so that's how I came up with this character.
I don't know why I feel the need to make everything a jinmenken, I probably became obsessed with them, turning past rumors about me being obsessed with them into reality, but I at least wanted to change it up a bit by making her part wolf. What kind, I don't know, it could be a gray wolf, a singing dog, or a South American fox, but she is a jinmenken wolf hybrid, because I don't do enough of those. I might do other shell based characters, and they're probably going to be different species of yokai like a tanuki, bird yokai, catbear, or generally something obscure that I don't normally draw.

Anyway, her name is Xavie Pimiko, but everyone calls her "XP", the sword she carries is called Odyssey, and it's modeled after an obelisk, and the shield is self explanatory, but it's called "Essential Barrier I". Will I ever make this into a game? Probably, but I just felt like making a character based on an operating system I used to use when I was a kid, and I already grew attached to my little sparkledog here. ❤

The background is obviously the Bliss wallpaper that every retail version of Windows XP computer had set by default.
