This gal is Celestial Ekhi, daughter of my Celestial Lumiere. Ekhi is the dragon of Nikita and is played by my good friend Chirpadee, who received her in our annual Hatching. She was born half the size of a normal Celestial (a type of solar elemental) to accommodate her mother’s comparatively tiny body, but shortly after she hatches she’ll grow at an exponentially fast rate to play catch up. Ekhi’s name and inspiration comes from the Basque goddess by the same name. Her crystal is a the Basque cross, or Lauburu. She is a fierce warrior, a loyal friend, and will stand up for Nikita to the very end. I am really, really happy to have had the chance to design her.
