Here we are into the season of ice and all things cold. Winter is was by far harder to design as a concept than the other three. While this was hard, it was in fact quite rewarding.   noxidium a big friend of mine and i butted heads and started brainstorming. Here's what hours of thinking and planning did. To start you can see that her skin is an lighter shade, this to let light enter her body easily, this will permit that her cells absorb more energy that it requires to maintain her form stable.

Her extra appendages are gone in favor of a moss hair, this maintain her inner heat and protects her from snow falling on her head as well. The parts that are always touching the freezing ground are encased in an special wood she herself created. The bark again serves its purpose to protect her more delicate areas from the elements as well as including an aesthetics element to it. The cuffs are from the mass saved in the autumn/fall season to provide her with nourishment in the months that food will be scarce for her as well as completing her "dress" aesthetic. She made this possible by submitting those areas to a controlled way of crystallization through the frost and as such the light refracted from withing also helps as a catalyst to absorb the nutrients in a subtle manner.
