Commission for Tanthalum (on FA)

Tanthalum had the idea of making a Hesiarr character, and we came up with this design!
The picture shows her taking a little stretch while doing checkup and maintenance on Hesiarr technology, she's doing well so far, she's even encouraged by Nresiil who's assisting her with his knowledge and helping hands :3

Were it not for those ears and finned tails, I would have thought those were teladi. Still amazing, though!

Just looked up and oh they look nice! The X series came a long way since the first X game with its goofy looking aliens :D
Maybe I'll try out one of the newer games, X 1 was fun but didn't keep my interest enough to play more of the series.Also there are plenty of similarities, yep, although even disregarding the aforementioned and other smaller details: the general facial features and head shape, body lenght-to-width ratio,and some other general shapes are different too.
I think the magnitude of differences between cats and dogs would be a fitting comparison.
As for another fantasy example a human can easily distinguish orcs from humans even if skin color is disregarded, and those are quite similar to each other in many visual features, hesiarr and teladi would easily distinguish each other from limited information too because of the closer perspective they have about their own looks.Thanks for your comment btw! :3
