You know, I think my favourite part of this piece is actually the environment. The character is excellently done, as always, but the environment just MAKES it. The lighting effects, the reflections, just the feeling it evokes. It FEELS good.

I like designing and drawing environments and backgrounds, they also let me put in a bit of storytelling into the picture :)-
It's amazing how true that old statement about a picture and a thousand words is! This really does tell quite a bit of background and builds quite a bit of atmosphere without saying a word.
