^{In the Summer the boyfriend and I took a trip to a nearby town and were sitting down by a harbour when we spotted something in the water. For some reason for the entire 15/20 mins we were sat there, this big St. Bernard-like dog was just stood there in the water. Presumably he was with a guy working on a boat nearby but it was so odd, he only even moved occassionally. Poor guy must have been feeling the heat. Was pretty entertaining hearing other people passing spotting him, including one lady pointing at him and saying to her friend 'look that bouy in the water looks like a dog from this angle'. But anyway, this portrait is dedicated to that fella for giving us some entertainment.

I'm not really happy with the background but this was only a quick paint and amused the bf so did it's job, so I don't really mind it's lack of perfection. q:
