Commission for Lyze (again :3)
Back with an idea I thought I had attempted a while back but was confusing it with the one time I suggested minigun keyblade.
In the end I couldn't find a way to make it not look ridiculous and growingly disliked turning a cool keyblade into an uninspired gun where the starting shape of the keyblade had nothing to do with the final product, so I cancelled and refunded that one.
Bow I feel is more on theme than gunlyze in general (though the sniper is still cool imho, I like snipers) took a bit to think of a way that the rigid key could fit on a bow, bownerds will probably resist the urge to inform me how impractical the final design is but I like it :3
I realise I ended up cancelling a handful of pieces for Lyze between previous one and this one. I don't remember why but think it's in part because stuff happens, got busier than expected etc but also because I drew that character so often it's becoming an easy way to compare previous skill level and current one so it's kind of intimidating to always improve on previous commissions of him.
I lacked the confidence to draw for a while after bad experience of someone reaching out because I was cheap rather than an art style they wanted and biting off more than I could chew twice. I think I'm feeling better about it now that I found renewed fun in streaming more art while I'm unemployed (passively looking for a new job might get more serious about that but taking it easy for now) and managed to outdo myself drawing Lyze again :3
