Wanted to test out my laptop in the bus a while back and used Oswald (bottom right) pixelart I had made as base to try to turn other characters into that style of sprite (32x32) while keeping them recognizable.
Top left to bot right : Norman Bark, Midnight, Opal Featherfall, Oswald
Interestingly I managed to use the exact same color scheme for Norman, but once it came to opal I found her bland without the blue.
Midnight I'm especially happy with. I try to always draw that character as pure black and define her with highlights strictly, didn't think it would work out that cleanly at that small resolution and palette, though I bet she'd be painful to animate with that constraint.

Also really happy how some look taller despite all fitting that strict square res (tho Oswald should ideally be taller than Norm).
