I always loved pixelart and my first attempt at doing any was really shitty Klik N Play games I lost long ago. I want to return to those roots lately.
Though my artstyle is often described as messy and I like it for static pictures, but it might disserve animation.
That's mainly why so far I'm trying to make much smaller sprites when anything is animated so far, trying to strike a balance between scale that showcases identifiable details but don't have too much wiggle room I'm accidentally making everything fuzzy.
Curious what oversized messy pixelart animation would look like though so I might try something simple eventually (Maybe with rotoscoping?).
