Another old picture, from May. I still really like this one, although I do wish I spent more time on the background.

Anyway, me and my BFF's characters, Kelly (left) and Darlene (right). We've had these two for years, and every once in a while, we get fired up to do something with them and then...don't. If I remember correctly, a concept behind the society of their world was that the rich & powerful (Kelly is the former) chose to show off their wealth and importance by replacing their organic limbs with mechanical ones. There is no tragedy behind Kelly's mechanical limbs -- he's just a young man (er, hare) going with what's in. Darlene was more middle-classed, and works as a simple seamstress in the fashion industry with a humble background. Darlene falls for Kelly at a time when he's getting involved with some shady stuff and shenanigans occur. Stuff blows up. Romance??? I don't know. I've kind of lost the passion for their story and Kelly's character. Maybe someday it'll reignite and we'll make a better, more coherent story. Or something.
