Backstory:

Once belonged to a trainer obsessed with having strong fighting pokemon, Machop was rejected by him for refusing to evolve and for failing to keep up with the others. (he had very high standards and didn’t have patience for those who need more time and attention.) Being left at a pokemon center, Machop was heart-broken and filled with self-hate, refusing to socialize with the other pokemon. Until a young-man, Al decided to adopt her. At first she was shy of him but in time she saw her as a father-figure. Her attitude changed for the better, enjoying life again, improving herself at her own pace and not being pressured into changing and helping others to get better, physically and emotionally.

Relationships:

Abra:

Sees Abra as a brother-figure. Highly respects him though she still likes to poke fun at him for his naivete of the human world and his relationship with Flaaffy. Abra became Machop’s favorite training partner, with him she aims to do 3 things:

learn how to fight psychic pokemon.
Help Abra in his physical training
to help look after Mew.
Mew:

Sees Mew as a baby-sister, loves playing with her, teaching her the world and takes pride in looking after her as well training her physically, like Abra.

Flaaffy:

Machop knew Flaaffy since she was a strayed Mareep, in fact Machop contributed both in nursing her back to health and helping her evolve. Sometimes their tastes might clash, but in reality Machop loves Flaaffy and couldn’t be prouder of her.

The Sneasel twins:

Really enjoys their company, often enjoys doing shenanigans with them as well as training with them. (very helpful in fighting more than one person.) Seeing how close the twins are and their fear of losing each other, Machop swore to keep them safe.

Al:

At first she didn’t trust him for being a human male, like her previous owner. But after awhile she grew to see him as a father. She looks up to him and vows to improve herself as well as looking after him, help him as much as she can, caring for pokemon, house-chores etc. For her birthday, Al gave her an everstone, one of her most prized possessions.
