Story: Al is aware of Jamir’s growing hatred for Alakazams, due to bullies of said species teasing him, pressuring him to evolve, ridiculing him for his life choice, overshadowing Abras and Kadabras in professional pokemon battles, his disgust over the their lack of tail, etc.

So Al decides to arrange a playdate with a trainer’s Alakazam he knows at work, to help shed light on Jamir’s view of them, teaching him that their like any other pokemon; there are good ones as well as bad ones. This particular Alakazam is one of the kindest pokemon Al has ever treated and loves to meet new people.
