Backstory:

Bijou was bred by a steel-type breeder whose home was attacked by team rocket. During her time captive, she soul-drained a member to near death and her being gentle-spirited, she was horrified. Fortunately for her, she didn’t stay for too long, as a police squad had broken into the base of operations, arrested the rocket members and rescuing the pokemon inside. However due to her attack on her captor, she was left drained and paralyzed to incapacitation before the rescue, by the time she was taken to the nearest Pokemon Center (where Al worked), she was dying. As a desperate attempt to save her, Al took her scarf and let force-fed her his soul to stabilize her, must to her protest. After her recovery, she headed off to the nearest shelter before Al regained conscience feeling ashamed for nearly killing him. She attended at a pokemon recovery home, where she came to terms with her capture and learning to accept and better control her soul siphoning powers. After months of recovering, Bijou decides to visit the Center and the human who saved her life, wanting to thank him, when visiting him and holding hands, they felt like a something missing in them for so long finally recovered. Much to her shock and wonder, he adopts her and she swears to never leave his side.

Relationships:

Jamir the Abra:

Being team rocket victims and both of the them being gentle and timid, they share alot in common and are always there when their tragic pasts start to haunt them. When learning that Jamir can use PSYCHO CUT via his mom’s spoon and adapt it to a “sword”, she volunteered to be his teacher and sparring partner.

Merle the Mew:

Like everyone else, they get along amazingly. Bijou sees Merle like a sister and feels more comfortable with herself being able to handle with great care some as unique and fragile like Merle.

Marta the Machop:

Marta took Bijou in to develop her self-esteem and to be more assertive. While Marta usually trains the others physically, she wants to be a coach on OTHER aspects of life.

Aria the Flaaffy:

Bijou being such a girly-girl, she gets along great with Aria, sharing so much in common. In short: Besties.

The Sneasel twins:

Was shy of them at first, but then starts to appreciate their love for life, humor and their constant company.

Jyoti the Joltik

Feels intimidated around her due to Jyoti’s wild-like nature of dominance. But in time, Jyoti learns to be more civil and Bijou learns to be more assertive.

Al:

Shares a deep and special connection with Al. Forever indebted to him for saving her life, possibly in the cost of his own. Due to absorbing his soul, he vaguely shares his memories and understands him as well as the others despite being the newest member.
