From the beginning of a roleplay between myself and a friend. Elian is mine and Raul (the one being carried) is hers.

Raul is fleeing the Murder (basically a gang he joined) after refusing to give up his life for their ends. Knowing he is being hunted, he sets sail into a storm in order to escape. The storm is stronger than he expected and destroys the boat. He washes up on a small island where Eli, the lighthouse-keeper, finds him. All Eli wants is for the stranger to leave as soon as possible, without upsetting the neat little life he's arranged for himself. Needless to say, it doesn't quite work out like he'd hoped.
