I'm back with a highly experimental piece. A few days ago I finished the manga Sundome. I could not really recommend it to anyone due to the ah... mostly questionable content in it, but around halfway through it gets really, really sad, and it had me bawling by the end of it. While the art in the chapters wasn't really for me, I found the cover art and the chapter cover art really, really striking. I love the sharp contrasts between the blacks and the whites of the chapter covers, and I love the washed-out colors of the characters against the bright white and black of the backgrounds on the covers. I couldn't help but want to do something in the same vein, so I came up with this to challenge myself, and I had a lot of fun with it!
