Yeah, obvious joke is obvious, but Ianthe really does make good use of that hammer. It's carved from a special, magical wood which not only can regenerate itself back to the form it was fixed into but also has unique physical properties that can magically blunt all force coming at it, which makes it useful as a defensive weapon and for a hard-hitting weapon like... a hammer!
