What a striking composition, this is really nice. I like how simplistic and repeating the contours of the trees are.

I kind of wish the character's shadow had been completely black, but I don't know. Maybe it would have taken the attention away from the center too much.

Well, thank you so much! I'm glad you like it, the stylized and simple was something I was really pushing for here. =) Ah, and good thinking, it would certainly give an interesting division of field! I suppose I had the characters shadow opaque like that to differ it from the environtment, to catch the shadow cast by his arms.
