I love the Fatal Frame series, so I drew 2 main bosses of Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly, Sae and the kusabi. Sae is just freaking disturbing, but she doesnt really scare me. However, the Kusabi used to seriously freak me out....he's just ANGRY o_O

Unlike the other ones, I decided to use a red color pencil to give the blood some contrast, which made this more freaky and cool x3

Sae, along with her twin sister Yae, becomes a sacrifice by being hung which isnt how the sacrifice isnt supposed to go. The actual sacrifice goes with her twin sister strangling the other, but her sister Yae manages to escape the village but not realizing that she accidently left her sister behind. She tried to get back to save her but the village shinto gate diseappeared and sadly Sae gets hung believing in her heart that Yae would come for her, but never did. She comes back as a crazy, angry spirit, killing most of the villagers in a massacre. The Kusabi was a man name Seijiro Makabe, the folklorist who came to All God's Village to get a look at the place of sacrifice, the Hellish Abyss. The village gave him a warm welcome and treated him well which tricked Makabe to lower his guard and ends up captured. They put him through a cutting ritual before they threw him down into the Hellish Pit while he was still alive. He was dubbed as the Kusabi as a temporary appeasement to the Hellish Abyss when Yae never returned. His completely different form of a very angry vengeful spirit rises along with Sae and kills many villagers in a massacre.End Spoilers
