The Hog Island Boa is a locality of Boa constrictor imperator, the common boa. They are often referred to as dwarf boas, although some individuals have grown up to 8+ feet. They are typically light colored, with pinks or blues on their sides and tails, and freckling that increases as the snake grows older.
