needed a mass producible unit for the jupiter forces so here it is. more to come as i flesh out the idea.

quick backstory:

the chasseur was developed by Zeus Military Industries using simplified technologies and equipment from their more successful lines of mobile suits and as such, the Chasseur is more than capable of holding its own against more advanced or sophisticated mobile suits. units are typically equipped spartanly with the beam interceptor gun mounted on the head being among the few luxuries. standard equipment is a single beam saber, a beam carbine, a simple shield and the beam interceptor gun.

mobility and maneuvering in space and on the ground is achieved largely through a relatively novel form of backpack mounted thruster system. called the Free-Float Maneuver Pack (FFMP), it is a series of thrusters are mounted on a pivot which is also able to rotate about its axis, giving the Chasseur an immense range of movement in space; this means it can almost instantly change its flight path in space or in the atmosphere.

optional equipment usually come in the form of an extra beam saber and a beam bazooka for hardier targets. a specialized heavy assault pack has been developed for artillery support. the pack adds on extra armor onto the Chasseur and replaces the FFM pack with an MLRS launcher with some thrusters. the pack sacrifices maneuverability for firepower and durability.
