wasn't feeling very happy with my recent quality of work, so i made this. arguably i put more effort in the colours than the line work.

backstory drivel:

ekrano armour is named for the ekranoplan or ground effect craft made by the soviet union as a novel means of sea transport. the ekrano armour seen here utilizes a series of small but powerful thrusters to achieve ground effect, allowing the user to hover above the surface at high speeds. if need be, the ekrano armour is able to launch its user into the air in a burst of flame and then glide down. there are 2 main thruster banks that flip out from the armour's backpack compartment and 2 more jump jets are strapped onto the lower leg armour to enable some measure of agility and stabilization mid-flight.

the armour is semi-enclosed with the exposed parts being the flame retardant jump-suit the user wears prior to the armoured sections. this enables the user to have a degree of flexibility not usually associated with powered armour. the ekrano armour does not typically come with fixed ranged weapons, but users have been known to add magnetic holsters on the thighs to bring in heavier weaponry like grenade launchers and rocket launchers. the user seen here has equipped a 9mm gyro-jet hand bazooka and has added a pair of gravity knives and mounts to the fore-arm armour.
