I had started working on this on January 9. I was inspired by Blackstar and obviously still on a pony kick, and I wanted to do a full piece to really try and solidify my skills with the new tablet I bought months ago (but had pretty much just futzed around with occasionally).

I didn’t finish it that weekend like I had wanted to, and then there was the news on the morning of Monday the 11th that David Bowie had died on the 10th.

I wasn’t sure if I should finish it, because it seemed so silly and maybe not appropriate. But, really, this piece combines two subjects that I have loved and built up collections of for the majority of my life. So here it is.
