Carmine Blaze does not like her wings; they show her she is not like the other ponies and tries her best to conceal them under a cloak, bandages, whatever she can find. After being bound/hidden for so long though, they need to be stretched, worked out so the muscles remain loose and she still holds the means of flight.

During such a time within the everfree forest, she was not aware someone had followed; someone that actually is rather knowledgeable on how she feels and tries to show her that she should not be ashamed of what she is, for she is no freak, or strange. Carmine though seems rather uncertain about anything the soft lavender pony speaks about...

My cold is near finished but still it seems all I can draw is mlp (not complaining mind you!) It does also allow me to finally add a bit more depth on Carmine in regards of her personality, her background and how she may belong in her world.
